  • It has been awhile since I was on here! I have been happily married for three months now! (plus a little bit) The wedding was awesome, for our honeymoon we drove to TX and then to FL. We figured out the round trip from OKC to TX to FL to OKC and then to home was 4000 mi!! That was our honeymoon. It is a good thing I love car trips. A couple weeks after we got back home Joseph had a roofing project near Chicago that was supposed to take a week because the skies were supposed to be clear! But no, God had a different plan, one of the evenings that Joseph was there(he stayed at the job site) it started raining! So a part of the roof that was not covered go soaking wet and the ceiling caved in! That made another project for Joseph to do! After one week I went and joined him and a week and a half later we drove down to OKC for my big brothers wedding! It was kinda crazy around that time, I learned how to do roofing, how to live in a house with 13 cats and 5 dogs, the productivity of clean as you go, how to cook eggs in a microwave, and the list goes on! BJ's Wedding was beautiful! His bride was stunningly gorgeous, and they have been happily married for over a month now. They are living in OKC near my family and BJ just got a full time job with the YMCA that I worked at when I was living there. After BJ's wedding we came home to find another big and kinda scary surprise (cuz whos ever ready for this one) I was pregnant with our first child! That means a lot of changes are going on with Joseph and me(and of course the baby too).  I am almost out of the morning sickness stage, another week and a half to go. But if this is all morning sickness is, I can handle it! I have always had stomach acid problem and for me it is just like stomach acid x2. But I am hoping it will just get better because stomach acid is no fun! So our end of Jan beginning of Feb plans are busy busy busy! For now Joseph and I are living in a house with two other people, Joseph's boss Don who is 73, and Joseph's brother James who is 21. Don has never been married and I don't know how he is going to handle having a baby in the house. As for James I think it will be kinda whatever to him, he doesn't seem excited or upset by the fact that we are having a baby, so I don't thing he will be effected much.  As for Joseph and I, well, big changes are in store for us. Joseph is still getting used to the idea that he will be a father, but for me, I am excited and terrified at the same time. I look at where I am and think am I really ready for all of this???. But God knows and plans the future, so I must look to him for that! Alright I think that is all going on in my life for right now. It does feel good to put it all down on paper (if you call this paper). You all have a blessed summer!

  • Wow...I am not very good about posting anymore. I guess that is because I really dont have anything to post about. ummm...I went to a baseball game yesterday with a Jeremy Camp concert following. The concert was cool, but the baseball game was boring. I think that Jeremy Camp was a great "first concert" for me, it wasnt terribly rocky, but it was fun and loud! I will have pictures of that just as soon as I get them on my computer. We have a group called TeenPact coming this next week, so that should fill up the building and keep us busy. The kitchen is getting a new person! It will be nice to have another person in there who kinda knows what they are doing so my parents can get more time off. Well, I think that is all that is happening that is kinda exciting. Until something else exciting happens, dont just live...live for Jesus!
